By downloading or using mīsmo, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

Use of the app

mīsmo is an entertainment app for making decisions — on your own or with others. You agree to use it only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not use mīsmo to harass, bully, harm, or deceive others, or to transmit any unlawful or offensive content.

Your decisions

mīsmo helps you decide — it doesn't decide for you. We're not responsible for any real-world outcome that results from using mīsmo. Any content you create within the app — including custom categories and options — is visible to others in your session. Session management actions, such as removing a participant, are taken by users - mīsmo only gets involved if we receive report of misconduct. Use your discretion and be nice.

Nicknames

Nicknames you enter are visible to everyone in your session. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate nickname. We reserve the right to terminate sessions where nicknames or conduct are reported and deemed inappropriate.

Content

Game content — including movies, TV shows, restaurants, music, and other categories — is sourced from licensed third-party providers. mīsmo makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, availability, or suitability of this content. Category and genre labels are organisational tools, not content ratings — always use your own discernment before acting on any suggestion, particularly if selecting content for children.

Custom content is manually created by the host and mīsmo is not responsible for category titles or options created by users. If you encounter inappropriate Custom content, please report it to ahoy@playmismo.com — we reserve the right to terminate sessions where user-created content is deemed dangerous, offensive or in violation of these terms.

Availability

We are a small independently funded business and provide mīsmo on an as-is basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any feature at any time, with or without notice.

Intellectual property

mīsmo, including its sounds, logo, and all related marks, are owned by us. Nothing in these terms grants you the right to use them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mīsmo and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be at this URL. Continued use of mīsmo after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
